As of November 20, 2024, Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG sensation, Starfield, has amassed an impressive player base of over 15 million fans. The studio shared this exciting milestone on its website, noting that the game reached this figure back in September 2023. Starfield made a monumental splash when it launched, selling ten million copies in just two weeks and reaching 12 million players by December of the same year. However, its growth has slowed a bit, drawing in just three million more players over the past eleven months.
"We’re immensely grateful to the over 15 million players journeying through the cosmos in Starfield," Bethesda expressed with enthusiasm. "We are thrilled that so many of you have joined us on this stellar adventure, and your feedback is invaluable. Our team is continuously seeking ways to enhance your gaming experience, and we’d like to share some recent improvements we’ve implemented in Starfield with our community."
The development team remains committed to interacting with the player community, making adjustments and updates that ensure the game stays engaging and enjoyable. As they celebrate this player milestone, Bethesda encourages feedback and looks forward to welcoming even more intrepid explorers to their vast virtual universe.
