Community Hunts for Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4’s Year-End Event for Epic Rewards

Diablo 4 is wrapping up its most successful year yet with an exciting community event designed to engage all players. This isn’t your typical live event, though. Instead, it invites the entire Diablo community to come together in pursuit of a common goal: hunting down as many Treasure Goblins as possible across the expansive Sanctuary world.

Named the Slay Ride to Hell, this event is structured in five progressive tiers. Each tier unlocks as more Treasure Goblins meet their demise, and these milestones lead to rewards for everyone involved. Players can snag reward caches from the Goblin Square at Kyovashad, and those who own the Vessel of Hatred will snag even more goodies.

Kicking off tomorrow, December 17, at 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, and 6 pm UK, this event is set to run well into January 2. While the goal might seem lofty at first, with the sheer number of players diving into this adventure, those thresholds will be met in no time. As if that wasn’t enticing enough, reaching tiers 3 to 5 will unlock limited-time cosmetics in the in-game shop. The final tier is the most coveted since it offers a Resplendent Spark—one of the game’s most elusive items.

Blizzard is ramping up the excitement by reintroducing several live events to accompany the Treasure Goblin hunt. Mother’s Blessing, which provides a boost to both XP and Gold, will be active from December 17 to January 2, and as usual, it can be compounded with elixirs and any Urns activated in the battle pass.

For those new or returning to the game, the Spiritborn trial will be available from December 19 to January 3, allowing players to test out the new class even if they haven’t purchased Vessel of Hatred. This trial lets you play up to level 25, offering a solid taste of the expansion, and any progress made will carry over if you choose to purchase it later.
