The buzz is building around the Unova Tour, with news of extra rewards that could help you secure a win. The introduction of a special “Unova Tour Pass” has been announced for the global event happening on March 1-2. This pass promises rewards throughout the event week. You can level up simply by engaging in regular gameplay activities, like catching Pokémon or diving into raid battles, which earns you “Tour Points.” Plus, there will be “Pass Tasks” available every day during the week leading up to the event and every hour on the weekend of the tour, boosting your pass level as you go. If you hit the highest rank, you’ll get to meet a Zorua. Bear in mind, it’s likely the standard form as the Hisuian variant hasn’t yet made its Pokémon Go debut. To get in on the action, make sure to log into the game starting at 10 a.m. local time on February 24. Don’t forget to snag your rewards by March 9 at 6 p.m. local time.

For those looking to amp up their experience, there’s the “Tour Pass Premium,” a paid version that follows a similar leveling up system but throws in some extra perks. Those who opt for the premium pass will have an encounter with the mythical Victini, and the cherry on top is a coveted “Lucky Trinket.” This new item lets you initiate a “lucky” trade with a friend, which is a fun twist! You can grab this pass in-game or through the Pokémon Go Web Store for $14.99. There’s also a web-exclusive offer for an extra $5 that instantly unlocks the first ten reward levels.

Keep in mind, this pass caters to the global event exclusively. Meanwhile, those attending in-person events will find tickets offering some similar perks. Despite the ongoing wildfires in the areas surrounding Los Angeles — the slated location for the North American in-person event — Niantic has confirmed that the live event will go on as scheduled.
