Insomniac Games has crafted a fantastic version of Marvel’s Spider-Man that’s a PlayStation-exclusive delight. Yet, Xbox fans won’t be entirely left out in the cold anymore. Sony, teaming up with NetEase, announced that the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Spider-Man 2 is swinging into Marvel Rivals. Even better, this update is rolling out across all platforms, Xbox included.

Historically speaking, PlayStation’s Spider-Man offerings have been a no-go for Xbox users. However, this time there’s a twist. The hashtags SpiderMan2PC and SpiderMan2PS5 were prominently featured in the reveal via PlayStation and Marvel Rivals’ official X accounts, which led many to assume Xbox players would be left in the lurch, much like the exclusive Spider-Man content for Marvel’s Avengers that was only available on the PS5.

To clear things up, NetEase stepped in to confirm that while this skin celebrates Spider-Man 2’s PC debut, it is indeed set to be available for everyone, maintained Xbox enthusiasts included.

“Don’t mess with the Amazing Spider-Man!” announced PlayStation in a lively January 15, 2025 post. The Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is getting integrated into Marvel Rivals. You’ll be able to snag this costume on January 30 when Spider-Man 2 hits PCs, so keep your eyes peeled.
