Attention all Pokémon enthusiasts, there’s exciting news on the horizon! Pokémon TCG Pocket is rolling out a brand new expansion known as “Shining Revelry,” and it’s all about those elusive shiny Pokémon. Unlike the challenging odds of 1 in 4,096 in the mainline games, this expansion promises an abundance of shinies for you to collect, starting March 27th.
The teaser for this expansion is indeed short, yet it packs a delightful punch. In true Pokémon TCG Pocket style, we catch a glimpse of a few exciting cards. Among them, you’ll find a stunning black Charizard EX, a fresh Lucario EX, and even a new Red trainer card that adds another layer of strategy to your deck.
In classic Pokémon TCG fashion, not everything is revealed right away. The creators know just how to keep us hooked with these tantalizing teaser trailers. While they offer a peek at a few cards, complete with their stats and abilities, they leave much to your imagination. For instance, the Red card promises to enhance damage against opponent EX Pokémon, making it a strategic asset, especially as Arceus EX continues to reign supreme in the game.
But that’s not all! The Shining Revelry expansion is accompanied by new EX starter deck missions, available on March 28th. These come with a mix of powerful new cards and additional ones designed to complement them. A special mention goes out to Wugtrio EX. Whether it turns out to be a game-changer or not, this Pokémon has a loyal fan in me, and I’ll be using it plenty in upcoming PvP events. Sometimes, you just have to stick with your favorites, no matter what.
