This year, dive into a remarkable experience with Animal Crossing: New Horizons at SEA LIFE centers across the UK. This much-loved life simulation game by Nintendo offers players the chance to build their very own paradise on a deserted island, mingling with an endearing community of characters.

For the first time in the UK, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game that’s captivated millions worldwide since its 2020 debut, joins forces with SEA LIFE UK to create a fresh, interactive adventure. Charting a course through various SEA LIFE locations, starting in Manchester on February 8, 2025, and making its way through Birmingham, Brighton, London, and finally Chessington’s World of Adventures Resort, this event promises to captivate both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing fans alike.

SEA LIFE UK, part of Merlin Entertainments and the world’s second-largest leisure group, provides the perfect backdrop for this adventure. With themed zones covering everything from the Atlantic and Arctic to the Rainforest and Tropics, visitors can explore an incredible variety of marine life. Catherine Pritchard, General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, couldn’t be more excited about the collaboration. “We’re thrilled to present this unparalleled experience at several of our SEA LIFE sites. Guests will journey alongside characters from Animal Crossing, surrounded by stunning creatures like Green Sea Turtles and Zebra Sharks, in an unforgettable adventure for all ages,” she expressed.

Armed with a guide, visitors will roam the ‘Sea Life Islands’ where they’ll encounter island inhabitants such as Aurora and Octavian, as well as a variety of fascinating sea creatures. There’s even a fossil dig that uncovers the predecessors of today’s marine life, and intrepid explorers can look for Gulliver, the familiar beachcomber who’s washed ashore. As they explore, visitors can gather character stamps, learn intriguing trivia about SEA LIFE’s animal residents, and meet fan favorites Tom Nook and Isabelle.
