Anime Vanguards has just rolled out Update 1.5 for Roblox, introducing exciting features like Familiars, new Units, a captivating Occult Event, and much more to explore.
Today, Kitawari, the game’s developer, unveiled the latest update to the popular Roblox anime crossover, enriching the gameplay experience with fresh activities and a slew of customization possibilities. As detailed in the patch notes, players can expect not only intriguing new features but also a range of enhancements and bug fixes designed to improve the overall smoothness of gameplay and visual quality.
Leading the lineup of new additions is the Anime Vanguards Occult Event. This event features an Occult Dungeon, a Talismans mechanic, Spirit Wisps, and numerous New Modifiers. Players can also explore an Occult Shop, check out an Occult Banner, and enjoy New Bundles. However, a word from Kitawari on Discord states that players must reach level 20 to engage in the event properly.
In previous updates, the game introduced characters from iconic anime such as Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Dragon Ball. This time, with Update 1.5, it taps into the buzz around the recent hit, Dandadan. Fans of the show will be delighted by new units like Divalo (Vanguard), Saiko (Exclusive), Okorun (Exclusive), Pweeny (Exclusive), and Mimi (Exclusive). Additionally, a new skin system lets players style their existing Units with fresh looks available via the Occult Banner. Familiars also make their entrance, providing "substantial buffs" to Units and enhancing their capabilities.
Since its launch in September, Anime Vanguards has consistently drawn in Roblox players, and while the game’s growth has been steady, the journey hasn’t been without its hiccups. Back in June, the developers addressed player concerns about the sporadic nature of updates by promising more regular communication as they continued development. Update 1.5 is a testament to their commitment, though when the next update will drop remains a mystery.
