As I found myself facing off against a massive, dragon-like creature, fireballs rained down from the sky. In response, I launched my own barrage of arrows while expertly dodging the aerial assault. I was quite proud of my evasive maneuvers—none of those fireballs managed to hit me. However, they did strike the wooden scaffolding I stood upon, setting it ablaze and causing it to collapse. Being quite high up added an extra layer of urgency to the situation. I quickly leapt to a section that wasn’t yet engulfed in flames, turned around, and tapped into my magical abilities. Using these powers, I hurled a chunk of the fiery scaffolding back at the beast, inflicting just enough damage to bring it down. At that moment, I felt undeniably awesome.
But then, as luck would have it, I dashed across some debris that had settled on the platform, causing a glitch in my character’s physics. Next thing I knew, I tumbled off the tower, crashing to the ground below. Thankfully, I survived the fall, albeit slightly worse for wear. Such is the unpredictable yet thrilling nature of Eternal Strands, a game that’s a bit rough around the edges but bursting with ambition and fun. Just another typical day in this action-packed RPG adventure. – Zack Zwiezen
