### Understanding Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals
Season 2 of Marvel Rivals features 18 distinct Team-Up abilities matched with a lineup of 38 heroes. Two abilities have been temporarily shelved, possibly to make a comeback in a future season, but for now, they’re out of action.
Each Team-Up ability is tailored uniquely, meaning that teaming the right heroes together can lead to some truly incredible advantages. During character selection, keep an eye on the center of your screen to see which heroes your chosen character can team up with.
The effects range from passive benefits, like Hela’s Ragnarok Rebirth, which allows for in-battle resurrection of Thor or Loki if they’re allies, to active benefits—take Rocket Raccoon’s Ammo Overload as an example, which grants additional abilities that greatly benefit accompanying heroes.
While most Team-Ups tend to favor one hero, leaving the other with little to gain, others provide more balanced benefits. For instance, the Lunar Force Team-Up grants invisibility to Moon Knight, thanks to the presence of Cloak & Dagger, even though they don’t directly gain any benefit.
