There’s a key change on the second day of Pokémon Go Wild Area 2024, affecting the mighty Pokémon spawns. Check out our comprehensive list to discover new wild encounters, such as Dragonite, Electivire, and Mamoswine.

Pokémon Go Wild Area Habitat Schedule
Throughout the Wild Area event, habitats switch every hour between Electric and Poison. Here’s the schedule:
- 10-10:59 a.m. Electric
- 11-11:59 a.m. Poison
- 12-12:59 p.m. Electric
- 1-1:59 p.m. Poison
- 2-2:59 p.m. Electric
- 3-3:59 p.m. Poison
- 4-4:59 p.m. Electric
- 5-5:59 p.m. Poison
Pokémon Go Wild Area Habitat Spawns
With only two alternating habitats, you’ll see unique spawns every hour. Mighty Pokémon even have their own daily appearance schedule:
Electric Hour features Alolan Geodude, Magnemite, Electabuzz, among others, while Poison Hour has Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Tentacool, and Skorupi. If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket, you’ll also face Collection Challenges for each habitat.
Complete both sets by catching all the listed Pokémon, and you’ll be rewarded with a Pop Star Pikachu and a Rock Star Pikachu for the Electric and Poison habitats respectively.
Field Research During Pokémon Go Wild Area Event
Field Research tasks will change depending on the active habitat hour. While tasks may seem similar, the types and Pokémon rewards will differ:
Electric Hour Research might have you capturing electric types to meet Hisuian Voltorb or Blitzle, while the Poison Hour Research focuses on poison types leading to Hisuian Qwilfish or Skorupi encounters.
