During Target’s Black Friday Sale, gaming enthusiasts can snag the Mega Showcase Xbox 360 Collector Building Set at its best discount yet. This exclusive set, a 1,342-piece Mega Bloks kit usually priced at $150, is now available for just $75—a massive 50% off!
This delightful tribute to the Xbox 360 has only seen a couple of price drops since it hit the shelves last year. Its previous lowest price was $100 during the Target Circle Week earlier in October. If you’re considering this offer, it’s wise to act fast. With such a tempting price, there’s a high chance it could sell out before the sale concludes this Saturday, November 30.
The building set, officially licensed by Microsoft, makes an exciting project for seasoned Mega or Lego builders. It creates a 3:4-scale model of the iconic console, specifically the launch version that made its debut in 2005. As a nice touch, the console comes in a replica of its original packaging.
Aside from the console, you’ll assemble a detachable hard drive, an Xbox 360 controller, and a Halo 3 game box. For added realism, you can pop off the side panel and place the fake Halo 3 disc on the disc reader. Once the disc is loaded, the Cortana chip on the motherboard lights up, and the Xbox Guide button illuminates via a removable battery pack.
The power button at the front of the console glows as well, but fortunately, you won’t have to deal with the dreaded Red Ring of Death.

For fans of the Halo franchise, there are savings to be found on Mega Bloks sets centered around it. Amazon’s Black Friday sale includes some fantastic Halo kits offered at significant discounts. Notably, the 609-piece Guilty Spark display model stands out, complete with LED lights and a speaker that plays 15 phrases from the games.
Additional huge discounts are available on two Halo Infinite sets: the 2,041-piece UNSC Elephant Sandnest Tank, along with two sets based on the Paramount+ TV series—a Banshee for $13 and a Warthog for $30.
On a side note, despite the cancellation of the Halo TV series after just two seasons earlier this year, you can still catch Seasons 1 and 2 in Amazon’s major Blu-ray sale for Black Friday.
