In response to @LadyCharlie, I have to respectfully disagree. Spoiling someone’s experience with a game or any form of media can take away from its magic. Just because someone was born at a different time or missed out on something when it first came out—there could be countless reasons for this—doesn’t give others the right to spoil that experience. We only get to feel that initial wonder once, and everyone should have the chance to enjoy that feeling when they encounter something for the first time. It’s truly unique.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to dive into a fresh experience without prior bias, influence, or spoilers from others. The way we perceive and enjoy any media is deeply personal, and having that untouched experience is something everyone should have a right to.
