Thanks to the efforts of developers Neowiz and Round8, players can dive into a meticulously crafted world filled with intricate, interconnected levels, exhilarating boss battles, fluid parry and riposte mechanics, and combat that’s both rewarding and challenging. Not to mention, “Lies of P” brings a few unique innovations to the table.

Since it hit the shelves in September 2023, “Lies of P” has cultivated a dedicated following eager to see what the series has in store. Just a few short months post-launch, Neowiz announced a DLC, scheduling it for release in Q1 2025. But as Q1 2025 dawns upon us amidst a heavy lineup of upcoming game releases, delaying the “Lies of P” DLC might be a strategic move.

The quarter is packed with action-centric titles, many featuring third-person combat reminiscent of “Lies of P.” Among them are “Eternal Strands,” “Hyper Light Breaker,” “Dynasty Warriors Origins,” and the upcoming “Monster Hunter Wilds,” “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” and “The First Berserker: Khazan.”

Even though “Lies of P” enthusiasts would likely put any DLC content at the top of their list, Neowiz might want to consider a quieter release window to capture the attention of a broader audience and ensure its place in the mainstream limelight.

As we reach the end of January, there’s a noticeable quietness from Neowiz regarding the DLC. No trailers, gameplay previews, new locations, or story hints have surfaced—not even a title for the DLC has been revealed. It’s certainly possible that Neowiz is gearing up for a surprise trailer drop, leading to the DLC’s release soon thereafter. A shadow drop could also be on the cards. However, the key is not to rush. The fanbase is expecting something remarkable, and many are willing to wait patiently for a polished, high-quality addition to the “Lies of P” universe.
