If you’re a fan of steelbook cases and have a soft spot for Transformers, there’s a deal on Amazon for Black Friday that you won’t want to overlook. The Transformers Limited Edition Steelbook 6-Movie Collection is now available for just $59. This set packs each movie in its own steelbook case, and it includes a nifty fold-out slipcase with a magnetic closure to stylishly keep them organized on your shelf. Plus, you’ll also receive the Autobot logo decal displayed in the image below.
Transformers Limited Edition Steelbook 6-Movie Collection
For only $59 (down from $135), this collection is a steal.
This impressive 12-disc set covers a span of iconic Transformers movies, including:
- Transformers (2007)
- Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
- Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
- Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)
- Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)
- Bumblebee (2018)
Each unique steelbook features prominent characters from the Transformers universe like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron. The collection comes with 4K Blu-ray versions of all six films, plus a voucher to redeem digital copies. Fans will be thrilled to hear that all the special features from prior releases are included on 1080p Blu-ray discs.
In this collection, you get to relive all five of Michael Bay’s adrenaline-pumping Transformers adventures and the Bumblebee movie, even though Bumblebee wasn’t directed by Bay. This collection hit the market just before Rise of the Beasts made its way to theaters last June. For those looking to complete their set, you can grab Rise of the Beasts on 4K Blu-ray for $17 over on Amazon.
Alternatively, there’s an option for fans wanting the new seven-film collection. Released in September, the Transformers 7-Film Collection on 4K Blu-ray is priced at $76 (originally $100), which essentially matches the price of purchasing the Steelbook Collection and Rise of the Beasts separately. However, the 7-Film Collection lacks the charm of steelbook cases.
Also available is a standard 1080p Blu-ray version of the Transformers 7-Movie Collection for a reduced price of $44 (was $56).
In other Blu-ray news for Transformers enthusiasts, the animated feature Transformers One is set to release on 4K Blu-ray this December 17. While the eye-catching steelbook edition is unfortunately sold out for preorders, you can still snag the regular 4K Blu-ray edition for $32 (down from $38).
