Nintendo Commits to Providing Daily Entertainment

Nintendo is stepping up its game with a fresh new offering: Nintendo Today, a smart device app designed to feel like your very own daily planner.

This app is your gateway to all things Nintendo. Starting each day, you’ll receive a dose of the latest news, videos, and comics featuring beloved Nintendo games and characters from select franchises.

Following the Nintendo Direct presentation focused on the Nintendo Switch 2, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, you’ll get the scoop on the new portable home console’s successor right through the app.

Reflecting on the journey, Shigeru Miyamoto shares, "Since 2011, Nintendo Direct has been our bridge to you, delivering news straight from us. These presentations have turned into events that a lot of you tune in for. We genuinely appreciate that."

Continuing, he adds, "Although we’ll still host Nintendo Direct presentations, we’re branching out with a new channel that’s all about getting info to you directly. Enter Nintendo Today!, a smart device app designed to work like a daily calendar. Through this app, we aim to provide a space for various Nintendo events and fresh content about our games and characters every single day."

Miyamoto also confirms, "Post the Nintendo Switch 2 event on April 2nd, you’ll receive daily updates about it delivered directly to your device through Nintendo Today!."
