Nintendo Releases – March 27, 2025 – Update

Between bidding farewell to gold coins and trudging through my slow progress in Xenoblade X, my connection with the eShop has hit the point where even Wendy’s would be envious of how icy it is.

Last week slipped by with us overlooking a few things, notably Senkyu, a Match 3 puzzle game that made its way into the Archives. Quick heads up: You have until the end of today to snag My Nintendo Gold coins from your purchases, so if you’ve been scooping up discounted games from places like the Humble Store or Best Buy, don’t worry—those codes will still net you their full coin value. However, if you’re hoping to use those coins this week, the selection’s a bit slim. Sure, there’s a new Doraemon Picross game leading the charge, joined by Gal Guardians (despite being published by PQube), and a reimagined version of the classic 1995 PC adventure game, I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream. For me, that originally existed as the tantalizing demo on a PC Gamer disc that stubbornly refused to run on my system.

As we near the end of the fiscal quarter, new releases are coming out thick and fast, but I’ve barely clocked an hour and a half on Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive since launch. At this sluggish pace, I’ll likely finish the game sometime around when the universe decides it’s done.
