This week’s Nintendo Switch eShop lineup is a mix of classic nostalgia and fresh content. We’ve got some treasured SNES games making their way onto the platform, an update to Nintendo’s music app, enticing sales, and a slew of new games ready to download.

Diving into the SNES classics, Nintendo’s expanding its Switch Online library with four new titles, all developed during Koei’s SNES golden era. Let’s start with Nobunaga’s Ambition and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness. These titles first captivated gamers in the early ’90s, set against the backdrop of Japan’s Sengoku period, challenging players to reunite the fragmented regions through various strategic methods.

Moving over to Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire, this 1994 gem is rooted in Chinese history, drawn from the epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. It offers a compelling turn-based strategy experience set in a tumultuous era of warfare and political intrigue.

And then there’s Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, the 1993 classic that lets players navigate the high seas during Europe’s Age of Discovery. It’s a mix of sailing and trading adventures, crafted with intrigue and exploration as you build your fleet and navigate epic voyages.

On the music front, the Nintendo Music app has a quirky update this week. They’ve added 23 tracks from the Kirby and the Forgotten Land soundtrack. It’s a bit of a mystery why not all tracks are released at once, but perhaps more will appear later this year.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire: Set during the fracturing of the Second Han Dynasty, this strategy game places you in the thick of the Three Kingdoms era. Tactical brilliance in warfare and governance is your key to building an empire. It becomes available on March 28, along with multi-player support for up to eight with one Joy-Con.

Uncharted Waters: New Horizons: Experience the thrill of 16th-century exploration. Choose from six characters and embark on a quest filled with discoveries across 130 destinations. Customize your fleet and face off against opponents at sea. Sailing into the eShop on March 28 for Switch Online members.
